Cute character Bento are shared in smartphones

CyberAgent is eager in a smartphone shift and releases much apps now. They ran handmade dish community for smartphones "Pecolly" and cooperated with anime movie "Crayon Shin-chan: Very Tasty! B-class Gourmet Survival!!".

Pecolly is Social Networking Service for smartphones that users upload and share the photos of one's dish. CyberAgent raised the photos of the Character Bento(Chara-Ben: homemade bento containing food decorated to look like cute characters) of this movie in Pecolly. Then works more than 500 gathered in 3 weeks. These are award winning prize works.

These did not win a prize, but are cute works.

Originally Character Bento was a popular cooking genre in Japan. Because Social Networking Service and smartphone appeared, works and the How to are shared rapidly.

Nameko cooperates with Anime studio

Now, Character of the popular smartphone apps Nameko spread in Japan. Developer of the Nameko series BeeWorks announced the new project about Nameko today. This the Anime promotion video.

This is a project to express charm of Nameko which they cannot express by the application. They will show new promotion video of Nameko regularly in Youtube in future. This project resembles Angry Birds Toons. However, they don't make all by themselves, and they cooperate with various Anime studios. The first is GONZO. Please check this cute video. GONZO made promotion video of Nameko in a motif of athletic meet.

Another social game quarrel in Japan: Grani warned gumi in an intellectual property theft

Japanese social game developer Grani warned gumi in an intellectual property theft. Grani and gumi are social game developers both, and they offer a social games in GREE. gumi released a new social RPG "Dragon Genesis" in GREE on April 26.

On the other hand, Grani provides social RPG "Shingoku no Valhalla Gate(神獄のヴァルハラゲート)" in GREE from January 25. This is very popular in GREE, so they conclude a strategic business tie-up with GREE.

And, according to Grani, game system, balance design, user interface and image look of "Dragon Genesis" of gumi just resembles "Shingoku no Valhalla Gate" closely very much. Grani showed an inspection image in their Facebook page.

Naturally gumi denies plagiarism and their claim does not intersect. This may be tried.

Gay-friendly bug occurred in Nintendo 3DS game "Tomodachi Collection:New Life"

"Tomodachi Collection:New Life(トモダチコレクション 新生活)" is popular game software of Nintendo 3DS.

"Tomodachi Collection:New Life" is an avatar game. Players can make one's avatar called "Mii", play with a friends, become them and lovers and can marry them. This is a life simulation game and may resemble the Sims series of EA.


This is released on April 18 and is very popular now in Japan. However, an interesting bug was discovered on May 2. It is that a male couple Miis can marry. Besides, childs are born.

Usually, same sex Miis cannot become a lover. However, male Miis are possible now(I do not know whether female Miis are possible). This was scattered in an instant by Japanese social media. It became the topic in Twitter in particular, and hashtag "#Homocolle"(It is a parody  of contracted form TomoColle of Tomodachi Collection) became the trend. The most of the reaction of Japanese Netizens were favorable. There were a lot of people who said "I want this!". I wish Nintendo does not revise this bug. Rather this should be adopted as an official game system. And I wish Nintendo become a Gay-friendly company taking advantage of this opportunity.

Japanese virtual world Ameba Pigg cooperated with Marvel and cute Spider-Man appear.

 There is an area in imitation of a harem, NY in Ameba Pigg. Cute Spider-Man occupies there now.
