Japanese illustration SNS "pixiv" got 1M users.

Congratulations!

pixiv is Japanese online community for artists managed　by startup Pixiv Inc headquartered in Tokyo / Sendagaya.

This SNS started a β test on September 10 2007 and then got 10,000 users in one month.

Now, a lot of users to access from China and Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong. (Though there is only Japanese notation)

"Pixiv Festa vol.2" is held by "Design Festa Gallery" on Saturday, July 11.

I went to "Industrial virtual reality EXPO vol.17" yesterday.

"Industrial virtual reality EXPO vol.17" is an event of virtual reality of the biggest in Japan.

Farewell Daletto World

Yesterday, The service end of "Daletto World" was announced.



Daletto World is the 3D VirtualWorld that the Daletto which is a subsidiary of Capcom of a game developer administers.

World design such as the papercraft is a characteristic.













CAPCOM is a famous video game developer.

There are lot of Mega-hit games in this company. For example "Mega Man" "Street Fighter series" "Resident Evil series" "Devil May Cry" etcetc......

But, the VirtualWorld success seems to have been difficult.

The service end plans September 29.
