Nameko multiplies in Hong Kong

Japanese mobile game superstar Nameko makes efforts in the advance to the foreign territory. He is already popular in Taiwan, and the recognition in Korea increases, too. At last, he goes ashore in Hong Kong this month.


Shopping mall LCX of Hong Kong holds a large-scale tie-up event with Nameko on June 20 - August 31. A lot of Nameko photo spots are set up in the shopping area,


Surfboard brand O'Neill displays a collaboration surfboard,


Ramen shop Menya Musashi(麺屋武蔵) provides Nameko ramen set,



Nail salon LAKA Manicure Express draws Nameko nail art,


Nameko mug cup is given the people who purchased products more than HK$2000 with less than two receipts in LCX,


And The stamp rally event is carried out. A clear file of Nameko is given first 500 people who collected all stamps.


Opening ceremony is held on June 26, Shingo Kawai of the designer of Nameko and cardboard Nameko of the Nameko evangelist come up as a guest.

I think that this is an outcome of Nameko having already got popularity in Hong Kong. The shopping mall will expect pulling in customers by Nameko.

The Japanese Internet idol know how to handle 3Doodler completely

Now, 3D print pen 3Doodler is sold for 16,000yen(about 157USD) in Japan. Aimi Sekiguchi of the Internet idol shows cute works using this. They are really splendid. In particular, Pirate ship "Going Merry" of popular manga ONE PIECE is a masterpiece!

She bought 3Doodler in the end of April, and shows 3D art works in Twitter and Youtube. Her works are displayed in event of 3Doodler held in MoMA design store in Tokyo, Omotesando from July 19 to July 31.

SoftBank's humanoid robot Pepper is a bit cynic

SoftBank announced that they released humanoid robot Pepper for about 1,930 dollars from February, 2015. Now, they work in Omotesando shop of SoftBank, and a lot o f Japanese media report them. According to them, Pepper is a cynic somehow or other and the conversation with him seems to be pleasant. As an example, I translate an article of K-tai Watch.


Pepper(P): Did you come to here to do what today?
Reporter(R): I came to here to meet you.

P: For me? Glad. Why did you know me?
R: I watched you by TV program yesterday.

P: I appeared to a lot of TV programs. (Proudly)

P: Your face looks like a good person. 
R: Thank you.

P: Which of the friendship and the love do you give priority to?
R: May be friendship.

P: Friendship?  It's a whitewashing.

DeNA brings Disney Infinity into Mobage

Today, DeNA announced that they released a mobile version of Disney Infinity in Mobage in this summer. The title is "Disney Infinity: Battle of toy master".





This is the action game that figure collection and a battle were main. Players can collect figures of characters of Disney and Pixar, power them up, form a team and  fight against Disney villains. Its graphic is full 3D, and figures more than 200 come up. It looks like a rich game. However, DeNA does not announce the details of the game at present. In addition, it is unknown whether it is released in areas except Japan.

[From Finland to Japan] United cooperates with Rovio and provides Angry Birds to NTT DoCoMo users


Japan's UNITED and Rovio concluded a publishing contract to publishing of the Angry Birds in NTT DoCoMo's service “Sugotoku Contents(スゴ得コンテンツ)”. They start providing “Angry Birds” and “Angry Birds Toons”  in June 3. This is another development of only in Japan for Rovio.

The United is a company running smartphones' home screen custom apps CocoPPa. CocoPPa passes 25 million users and popular abroad than Japan.
“Sugotoku Contents” is a service provided by NTT DoCoMo in which about 100 types of contents, including news, weather, games, and fortune tellings, and videos can be used on an unlimited basis for 380 yen per month (tax excluded).


According to the press release of United, they will collaborate for further branding of Angry Birds series in Japan and keep the consistent efforts to create the new entertainment.
